History and Details: Cloverdale ARPA has had a very active presence in the Surrey area since its reincarnation in 2001. The group has distributed its quarterly ARPA Alert publication throughout many churches in the greater Vancouver area as well as a more frequent "mini Alert" in the Cloverdale community. It has hosted numerous events and contributes letters to the editor in local newspapers.

ARPA Cloverdale has been involved with all levels of government, appearing before Surrey Municipal Council in opposition to expanded gambling, as well as interacting often with their local MLA and MP. They have also played leading roles in organizing conferences in BC for the ECP Centre, and work with other groups such as BC Parents and Teachers for Life and REAL Women of Canada. Currently the Cloverdale ARPA has some thirty members and a board consisting of one member at large, a treasurer, a secretary, a chairman and a president.
